Allie + Ghosts

I've had this idea in my head all week for these photos, and thankfully (for some reason) Allie trusts me when I text her and say "I wanna take some weird and creepy photos in the mountains this weekend." We originally planned on going to Estes Park, but decided it might be too packed on a Saturday, and instead decided to just drive up I-70 and see where we ended up. A little bit before sunset, we made it to Georgetown, and it couldn't have been a more perfect spot for photos. (Plus, Georgetown is just super cute and small, it gave the perfect vibe for the idea I had in mind.)

This was my first conceptual shoot I've done in a long time, and I'm really happy with how the photos turned out. Looking at them is basically exactly how I imagined them in my head. It also helped that we listened to a lot of PVRIS and The Neighbourhood on our way to Georgetown.

No photo shoot with Allie would be complete without an adorable picture of her laughing at something dumb I said.

This photo doesn't really fit the theme we were going for, but this park was super cute, and I'm in love with this photo.

After we left Georgetown and made it back to Denver, we decided to stop by the oil refinery for some nighttime photos. These aren't necessarily part of the "Ghosts" theme or shoot, but I really love them and wanted to include them in this gallery. The lights were totally gorgeous, even if it was creepy as hell there.
