Favorite Photos of July 2018
Man, I'm slacking. It's literally the last day of August and I'm just now posting my July blog. Sorry! On the plus side, I took some of my favorite photos this year in July, so I guess it was worth waiting for? Anyway, here are some neat photos! Enjoy!
Warped Tour @ Pepsi Center
Man, I'm still so bummed that this was the final Denver Warped Tour, but I'm SO happy with my photos from this year! I tried to include a few from each band's set, but I'm too lazy to label them all. (If you know, you know.) My favorites are definitely the shots of Don Broco, go figure haha.
Sylvan Esso & Hippo Campus @ Red Rocks
I adore Sylvan Esso and this show was an absolute DREAM to shoot. I also have a thing for purple/pink lights and that's ALL their first three songs were, which is everything I wanted and more. Seriously, I wish I could shoot them every single day. Hippo Campus were also a lot of fun to shoot!
Thirty Seconds To Mars, Walk The Moon & K. Flay @ Fiddler's Green
This show was nuts. I seriously didn't know if I was shooting till a few hours beforehand and it was POURING literally all day until Thirty Seconds To Mars got on stage. I was soaked. It was a LOT of fun to shoot, though. A kid proposed to his girlfriend during the first 3 songs, which was a photographer's dream. AND they let us shoot the whole set from the crowd which never happens at Fiddler's. Dan from Imagine Dragons also showed up to do a song with K. Flay which was awesome.
Imagine Dragons @ Red Rocks
The day after Thirty Second To Mars, Imagine Dragons played Red Rocks and their set was absolute PERFECTION. Amazing production, amazing music and amazing to shoot. I definitely overshot this one, but I'm super happy with my photos.
Playboi Carti @ The Ogden
Another really fun, really fast-paced show to shoot. I feel like a lot of artists don't take advantage of green and yellow lights, so it was really fun to play around with those colors for Playboi Carti. I was also covered in sweat by the time this show ended because it was SO disgustingly hot in the venue. Fun times.
