Rise Against @ The Fillmore Auditorium, 8/16/15

This show was insane. I've shot letlive. a million times, but never at a venue this big, and I had never shot Rise Against or Killswitch Engage before this show, so it was interesting, to say the least, but a ton of fun, too!

Rise Against put on an amazing performance and their lights were absolutely gorgeous, so that made for some really fun photos. They were a dream to photograph. Killswitch Engage was a little harder, as their lights weren't as nice, but there was this big spotlight that was on their vocalist for the majority of their performance, so that made things a little easier. It's always a challenge shooting a band for the first time, even if you've seen them before and done your research. However, I've said it before and I'll say it again: letlive. are some of my favorite people in the world and my favorite band to shoot. Hands down. While I love shooting them at tiny venues where Jason can climb into the crowd and go nuts, it was such an amazing experience shooting them on such a big stage. Besides, they don't lose any of that energy, haha.
