The Wonder Years @ The Ogden Theatre, 10/27/15

Showing up at a venue and hearing the words "no pit access" can really suck, and this show was definitely no exception. I was allowed to shoot all of the bands from the barricade except for The Wonder Years. I'm not sure why this was, but it actually ended up being the best possible thing that could have happened. I've shot TWY a few times now and I've never really been super stoked on my photos. I always think I could do better. So as soon as I found out I wasn't allowed in the barricade for their set, I took it as a challenge. I was determined to make these photos as great as possible, even if it meant shoving my way through a rowdy crowd to get the shot. Thankfully, it worked out and these are some of my favorite photos I've ever taken of The Wonder Years.

I was super excited to shoot Motion City Soundtrack, as well. Their lighting wasn't very desirable, but I did walk away with some photos that I really love. Same goes for State Champs and You Blew It!. This show was a lot of fun and I'm so happy with these images.
