letlive., Architects, Glass Cloud & I The Mighty @ The Marquis, 4/25/14

I absolutely adore shooting letlive. Not only are they some of the best dudes in the world, they're also the most energetic and fun band to watch (at least in my opinion.) I've shot them at least 5 times and every single time is different. Every single time, Jason is doing something just as crazy - if not crazier - than the last, including jumping off of balconies, leaping into the crowd even before the first line of the first song or climbing up some of the sketchiest looking speakers and bars I've ever seen. I've seen him and Jeff leap into the drum kit at the end of their set, practically beating themselves up just for the sake of a great live show and I've seen Jason go just as crazy, even with a sling around his arm because he decided it would be a good idea to punch out a window at one of their previous shows.

Honestly, if you've never seen letlive. - even if you're not into their music - they're a band that I think everyone should see at least once in their life. They just put so much heart and soul into their music and live performances that it's impossible not to like them, and it's always an absolute pleasure to take photos of these boys.

On top of getting to shoot letlive. at their second date on this tour, I also got the chance to take photos of I The Mighty and Architects, who were a dream to shoot, and Glass Cloud, who are another one of my favorite bands to photograph. Honestly, if you have a chance to make it out to this tour, I highly suggest it. All of these bands are great.

Jason and fans during the set. He started hugging just about ever person that made it up onto the stage by the end of their set.

Fans jumped onstage during the band's last song and sang along with them. One of them even hoisted Jeff up on his shoulders, which he looks pretty stoked about.

This is hands down one of my favorite images I've ever gotten of letlive. I feel like it describes them perfectly.
