Vacationer @ The Marquis, 10/21/14

I'll come out and say it - I'm not 100% happy with my photos from this show. There's a few golden ones of Vacationer that I love, but I know I could have done better with the rest.

However, this show was definitely a learning experience. It was my first show shooting with my old setup in over two years and I definitely wasn't used to it, which is something that I hope to be soon. Shit happens, and I need to be prepared to shoot with gear that I'm not necessarily comfortable with and still get good shots. If anything, that's what I'll take away from this show.

Well that, and the fact that Vacationer was absolutely INCREDIBLE live. Kenny Vasoli is one hell of a vocalist, and a total sweetheart. Keep an eye out for some portraits I did of him for the upcoming issue of The Prelude Press!
